Job summary

S & S Private Home Care, LLC is seeking a Home Care Aide to provide one-on-one in-home care, following a personalized care plan and building relationships with patients. You will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and dedicated to creating a healthy environment meeting patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Home Health Aide program is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of professional experience is preferred.
• Driver’s license is required and CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in/out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or cars.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress or problems to report to supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Administer medications and immunizations as prescribed.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities to promote well-being.
