ANGEL CARE HOME COMPANION SERVICES is seeking a Home Care Aide to work directly with patients in their homes, following a one-on-one care plan. You will build genuine relationships, be detail-oriented, and ensure a healthy environment that meets patient needs.

Strong communication is essential, and prior home health or hospice experience is a plus. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on daily living activities, record-keeping, and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written communication skills are required.
• One year of professional experience in home health or related field is preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited Home Health Aide program is required.
• Driver's license is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Give medications and immunizations.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities.
