Job summary

Schelmety Care Provider Corp in Florida seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide to work one-on-one with patients in their homes. You will follow a care plan, document observations, and support daily living activities with empathy.

Ideal candidates have a Home Health Aide program completion, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR certification, and a clean background, plus at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year prior professional experience.
• Driver’s license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Clean Background is a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care.
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor.
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert.
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities
