Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Home Care Aide/Caregiver to help seniors at home, delivering personal care and support with daily activities and companionship. The role requires compassion, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. A high school diploma and background check are required.

You will work Mon-Fri 8a-12p and weekends at $20/hour, with weekly pay and opportunities for online training, CEUs, and tuition discounts through Rasmussen University.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• Clear Background Check & Drug Screen.
• We do not test for THC.
• Valid OR driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation, companionship).
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document conditions for supervisor.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Engage clients in activities (games, reading, hobbies).
