Job summary

Cheer Home Care is hiring a Home Care Aide in San Diego to provide compassionate non-medical care for elderly and disabled clients. You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, transportation, and light housekeeping, aiming to improve clients’ comfort and quality of life at home.

Responsibilities include helping with daily activities, transporting clients to appointments, and offering dementia and hospice care support as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and non-medical home care to the elderly and disabled.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, toileting, personal hygiene, and light meal prep.
• Transport clients to medical appointments and assist with errands.
• Offer dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, hospice care support as needed.
• Provide hourly and 24/7 care as required.
• Perform light housekeeping and organizational tasks.
