Nurse Next Door in Placerville, CA is hiring dedicated caregivers to help seniors stay at home. Choose flexible, part-time Weekdays and/or weekends with competitive pay and supportive team.

Responsibilities include personal care, transfers, meals, companionship, and light housekeeping. You’ll complete records, participate in training, and maintain active Home Care Aide registration with the CA DSS.

Formación

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1 year caregiving experience (preferred).
• Criminal background check completed.
• Tuberculosis test clear (no active TB).
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Self-directing with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance or reliable transportation.
• HCA (Preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with personal hygiene (skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, dressing).
• Assist clients in and out of bed, transfers, positioning and ambulation.
• Assist with exercises to meet client needs.
• Meal planning and preparation; assist with eating.
• Assist clients to bathroom or with commodes, bedpans or urinals; incontinence care.
• Provide companionship and light housekeeping, laundry, transportation, shopping for personal items or groceries.
• Assist with medications ordinarily self-administered; report changes to administrator.
• Complete service records of care performed.
• Participate in required training.
• Maintain an active Home Care Aide registration with the CA Dept. of Social Services Home Care Services Bureau.
