Job summary

Home or Away LLC is seeking a dependable Personal Care Aide to provide hands-on support with daily living and personal care for clients in their own homes in Georgia. You will work one-on-one with clients and families to ensure safety, comfort, and dignified care, including bathing, grooming, medication reminders, and mobility assistance.

The role emphasizes empathy, strong communication, and reliable, compassionate service, with ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Background in home care, assisted living, or memory care preferred.
• HIPAA knowledge and patient privacy understanding.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required (before start).
• Ability to safely assist with physical tasks and transfers.
• Strong interpersonal communication with clients, families and supervisors.
• Patient, reliable and compassionate professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Support: assist bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and safe mobility.
• Health Advocacy: observe and report changes in client condition or wellness.
• Nutritional Care: prepare meals per dietary needs and assist feeding as needed.
• Home Environment: light housekeeping to maintain a safe living space.
• Transportation: accompany clients to medical appointments and errands.
• Safe Handling: assist with transfers and positioning for safety and comfort.
• Documentation: keep accurate records of care activities and observations.
