Job summary

A&C Private Home Care in Georgia is seeking caring Personal Care Aides to provide compassionate, one-on-one support to immobile, recovering, or frail clients.

You will assist with daily activities, personal hygiene, meals, errands, and mobility, while reporting changes and maintaining a safe, clean home environment. CPR certification and TB test required or willing to obtain; prior home care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (Preferred).
• Flexible schedule availability.
• Ability to manage and organize clients' routines effectively.
• Ability to assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and running errands.
• CPR Certification & TB Test: You must be CPR certified or willing to obtain certification prior to starting. An up-to-date TB test is also required, or you must be willing to acquire one before beginning work.

Responsibilities

• Providing immobile, recovering, or frail clients with support, company, and comfort.
• Reporting changes in the physical, mental, and emotional conditions of clients to relevant parties.
• Providing support with personal hygiene, including bathroom visits, bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth.
• Engaging clients in suitable activities, such as playing games, taking walks, or having conversations.
• Performing basic housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and preparing meals.
• Assisting clients with household finances, bills, and payments, as well as running errands.
• Accompanying clients on outings and arranging transportation to medical appointments.
• Providing mobility support, including assistance with walking aids and wheelchairs.
• Maintaining a hygienic, tidy, and safe environment.
