Job summary

Hireez is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to support homebound elderly clients and patients with disabilities or chronic illnesses. The role emphasizes compassionate personal care, safety, and adherence to agency plans and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, feeding, mobility, and daily activities, while documenting changes and communicating with the clinical team to ensure quality care and patient well-being.

Qualifications

Clear and active CNA and/or HHA certification to practice in Florida.
CPR certification.
1 year experience with a Home Health agency preferred.
Annual 12 hours of in-service training.
Experience with Alzheimer patients.
Knowledge of computer office/clinical software.
Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

Performs personal care activities per written assignment (Aide Care Plan).
Reviews safety risks in patient’s home and takes action.
Notifies supervisor of risks and documents actions.
Protects patient from injury during activities.
Assists with hygiene, grooming and activities of daily living.
Measures and records vital signs and fluid intake/output as prescribed.
Provides basic nutrition and meal preparation.Maintains clean patient environment.
Promotes patient independence in daily living activities.
