Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Home and Community Based Services Aide to provide essential personal care and household support for clients in their own homes across Lafayette, LA. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor client condition, and help with transportation to appointments while maintaining confidentiality and accurate EVV records.

This role requires reliable transportation, a current CNA certification (or completed training), and flexibility to work in diverse home

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• LA: Current CNA certification or successful completion of a training program. Current First Aide Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
