Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Louisiana is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to support patients at home, helping with personal care and daily living activities to enable them to remain in their own homes.

Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, meal prep, errands and monitoring health, with an emphasis on safety and compassion. CNA certification and reliable transportation are required; CPR/First Aid preferred, flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
• Current CNA certification or successful completion of a CNA training program.
• Current First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
