Job summary

Credent Care LLC seeks a dedicated Homemaker to support individuals in their homes. You will perform housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, and transportation planning to maintain a safe, comfortable living environment. Collaboration with care teams ensures holistic support and timely documentation of daily activities.

Qualified candidates show compassion, reliability, and strong communication. A valid driver’s license and insurance are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certifications).
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health concerns preferred.
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care and support.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and auto liability insurance.
Physical ability to assist individuals with mobility and daily tasks as required.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
18 years or older.

Responsibilities

Perform light housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces.
Manage laundry services including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes.
Monitor overall cleanliness and tidiness of the home environment.
Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards within the home.
Assist in managing household activities such as transportation, meal prep, and shopping for groceries and supplies.
Provide support with simple home repairs and maintenance tasks.
Coordinate and organize home-related tasks efficiently to enhance living space functionality.
Monitor home safety measures and address potential hazards.
Maintain clear communication with individuals, families, and caregivers regarding needs and preferences.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, case managers, and team members for holistic care.
Document daily activities and incidents accurately and timely.
Stay updated on best practices and regulations for homemaking services.
Participate in training programs to enhance caregiving and home management skills.
Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
