Job summary

Maya Home Care is a boutique PCA/Companion agency serving New Jersey. We are seeking HHA certified caregivers to join our growing team.

You will provide high-quality personal care and companionship in clients’ homes, ensuring comfort, safety and well‑being in a supportive and innovative environment. Applicants should hold NJ HHA certification (CHHA preferred), have reliable transportation, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• HHA certification in New Jersey.
• CHHA certification in NJ is required or preferred.
• Previous home care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, meals).
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home.
• Monitor and report changes to the care coordinator.
• Follow individualized care plans with compassion and respect.
• Ensure client comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintain accurate care documentation.
