Job summary

Summit Home Health Care is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides (HHAs) in New York to deliver compassionate in-home care to patients. You will perform daily personal care, assist with activities of daily living, and accompany clients to appointments and errands, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.

Applicants must hold a NYS HHA certificate, provide ID/Social Security/Waiver as needed, and supply letters of recommendation plus health screenings.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Home Health Aide Certificate.
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card & Work Authorization, if needed.
• 2 Recommendation Letters.
• Recent Physical.
• TB Screening (Quantiferon preferred).
• Flu shot.
• Rubella & Rubeola titer lab work.
• Chain of Custody Drug Screen no older than 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Daily personal care (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, etc.).
• Assist with daily living activities per the Plan of Care.
• Monitor patients and report on their condition.
• Help with meals and basic housekeeping.
• Accompany the patient to doctor visits, shopping, and other errands.
