Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Per Diem Aide to provide in-home personal care and assistance with daily living activities, enabling clients to stay in their own homes. You will assist with bathing, grooming, meal prep, and transportation as needed.

This role requires a CT 75-hour state-approved training, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work flexible hours. CPR is preferred, with 6+ months of home care experience.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• CT: 75-hour state-approved training program.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminder.
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system.
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
