Job summary

Apploi is seeking a compassionate home health aide to join our growing team in Indiana. The ideal candidate provides various levels of support to clients with a can-do attitude and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities include personal hygiene support, medication reminders, mobility assistance, meal planning, light housekeeping, and emergency reporting. Valid driver’s license and willingness to work nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting; eager to improve and learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or post-surgery clients, attending to basic needs such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating.
• Remind clients to take prescribed medications.
• Help with mobility around the house or to appointments and outings.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene; plan and prepare meals.
• Complete client shopping or accompany to do so.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Report unusual incidents and act quickly in emergencies.
• Offer activities essential for daily living and assist with meals and related tasks.
