Job summary

Haven Health in Sierra Vista, AZ is seeking a Transportation Attendant to coordinate transportation plans for current and potential residents under the supervision of the Executive Director. You will work closely with Central Supply and Scheduling to ensure safety and timely transportation while assisting residents entering and exiting vehicles.

You will follow traffic regulations, maintain safety guidelines, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure appropriate coverage for resident

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• No serious violations on driving history.
• Finger printing clearance card or eligible to obtain.
• Background screening, licensure verification, reference checks and drug testing.
• TB testing.
• Employee health screening after hire.
• Ability to move, lift and transfer at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation plans for current and potential residents.
• Ensure resident safety while assisting entry/exit of company vehicles.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure accompanying staff when required.
• Follow traffic rules and transportation safety guidelines.
