Job summary

Northridge Health & Rehab in Georgia seeks a dedicated housekeeping associate to maintain clean patient and common areas. You will perform floor care, window and surface cleaning, and assist with general housekeeping tasks in a healthcare setting.

The role requires adherence to infection control standards and the ability to work with a compassionate, respectful approach to patients and staff. Weekends may be required in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning principles and safety around chemicals.
• Ability to read/write basic documents and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Proficient use of common Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop tile floors.
• Report to supervisor any carpeted areas needing cleaning.
• Vacuum carpeted rooms as applicable.
• Dust/damp clean surfaces in patient rooms.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean bathrooms and glass surfaces, following procedures.
• Move furniture to access hard-to-reach areas.
• Follow infection control standards while cleaning.
