Job summary

Placer SPCA is seeking a Guest Services Associate to serve as the primary contact for clients and visitors across our Intake Center, Adoption & Education Center, and Veterinary & Foster Care Center. You will deliver a welcoming, solution-focused experience both in person and by phone, guiding clients through reclaim, surrender, adoption, and community veterinary services.

Ideal candidates show strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in customer service and shelter

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fear Free Certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests across multiple locations in a professional, compassionate manner.
• Provide accurate information on shelter and clinic services and guide clients accordingly.
• Counsel on adoption, reclaim, surrender, and other processes per standards.
• Manage calls, messages, and inquiries with timely follow-up.
• Support intake, schedules, and coordination across centers.
