Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll join a mission-driven team and help people live well while pursuing a fulfilling career.

As a caregiver, you’ll build real relationships, assist with personal care, and support participants in achieving goals. This role offers stability with a national provider and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants be part of the community and work toward developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
