Job summary

REM Community Services, part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll join a mission-driven team and help participants live well, focusing on growth and independence.

As a caregiver, you’ll assist with daily living, support behavioral needs, and help participants achieve personal goals, in a supportive work environment with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with behavioral challenges and complex needs.
• Help participants set and pursue developmental goals (budgeting, exercise, nutrition).
• Develop caring relationships and promote participation in community activities.
