Job summary

LIFE, Inc. - Washington in Washington, NC seeks a dedicated Full-Time Group Home Caregiver to provide compassionate support and promote independence in a warm group home setting. The role offers $17.50 per hour, paid bi-weekly, and is a full-time, 3rd shift position.

You will assist clients with daily living activities, meals, medications, safety, and community activities while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team for positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive assistance and supervision with daily living activities.
• Support meals with family-style dining and proper nutrition.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe, clean home.
• Help prepare meals and administer nutritional supplements.
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and monitor side effects.
• Implement dietary plans and assist with adaptive equipment.
• Follow behavior support programs and collect data.
• Engage clients in active treatment programs and track goals.
• Communicate client information with the interdisciplinary team.
• Transport and accompany clients in company vehicles.
• Support social participation and community activities.
• Assist clients in school and day program activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
