Job summary

CorsoCare in Michigan is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide care in private homes across Gaines and surrounding areas. The role requires driving up to 40 minutes to client locations, with shifts from 7:00–11:00 and 17:00–21:00.

You will assist residents with daily activities, hygiene, meals, and mobility while following prescribed protocols. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required; geriatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous healthcare or geriatrics experience preferred.
• Desire to work with geriatric population essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide care support to private homes within assigned geographical region.
• Comfortable driving up to an hour (45-50 miles).
• Bathe and clean residents by bed bath, shower or whirlpool as needed.
• Assist with grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Assist with meals and light housekeeping.
• Follow medication administration protocols as identified for each client.
• Complete daily charting and report findings to Care Coordinator.
• Travel to different locations as required.
