Job summary

Absolute Storage Management, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Assistant to support residents under nursing supervision. You will assist with bathing, meals, mobility, and daily activities, while maintaining dignity and confidentiality.

The role emphasizes infection control, record-keeping, and collaboration with the care team to ensure a safe, respectful home environment for elders. Orientation and ongoing trainings are provided.

Qualifications

• High School education preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• CNA training or certification preferred.
• Geriatric care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and resident care.
• CPR certification.
• Basic understanding of aseptic/sterile techniques.
• Good physical and mental health; neat and professional appearance.
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward the elderly.
• Ability to lift/move residents and tolerate extended walking/standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily bath and dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Record vital signs and care notes; monitor changes and report to supervisor.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist during meals.
• Provide table service and basic in-room housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality and Residents' Rights; report complaints.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures; inventory possessions.
• Attend orientation and required trainings and staff meetings.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
