AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Personal Care Attendant I in Covina, CA. The role supports participants across all care delivery, coordinates food services, and assists in center activities to meet recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs.

You may accompany PACE participants to appointments and ensure quality care. The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), California Food Handler Certificate within 30 days, at least 1 year of experience with frail

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• California Food Handler Certificate of Achievement upon employment preferred, must be attained within 30 days of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the frail elderly (Geriatric) and disabled population, preferred.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support to participants across all platforms of delivery of care.
• Coordinate, preparation of all food services, support and assist center activities, and coordinate delivery of quality activity programs/activities for all participants.
• Ensure that the recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of each patient are met.
• Accompany/assist PACE participants to and from outside specialty appointments.

Conocimientos

Bilingual English/Spanish

Bilingual Cantonese/Mandarin

Valid BLS certification
