Job summary

Hampshire County Council in Alton is seeking a General Assistant (Older Adults) to support with domestic, laundry, and kitchen tasks while building positive connections with residents at Marlfield residential and nursing care home.

You will join a supportive, on-site team in a permanent role with induction and ongoing training, contributing to high standards of care and wellbeing for residents.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning: maintain cleanliness in residents' bedrooms and common areas.
• Assist with meals: help serve meals and support residents during eating.
• Laundry duties: assist with laundry tasks as needed.
• Accompany residents: escort residents to appointments and ensure comfort and safety.
• Build relationships: foster positive connections with residents, families, and colleagues.
