You will transport the deceased from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices while upholding compassion and professional conduct.

The role requires a valid drivers license, the ability to lift 100 lbs, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state-issued drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs safely.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated composure and compassion in challenging situations.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and accept feedback constructively.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external work processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for families during transfer of the decedent.
• Transport the deceased from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home.
• Maintain a professional demeanor with compassion and kindness in all interactions.
• Drive a hearse and fill in for funeral attendants as needed including nights and weekends.
• Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner per laws and regulations.
• Receive multiple task instructions, determine the best order, and complete tasks promptly.
