Service Corporation International is seeking a part-time Funeral Services Assistant in Chula Vista to support funeral operations. You will handle clerical duties, greet families, manage service preparations and assist with transportation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Prepare documents related to services and cremations as directed by management.
• Assist with respectful preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting, as permitted by law.
• Answer phones, operate office equipment and department systems; run errands as needed.
• Greet client families entering the office and provide information and assistance.
• Drive Funeral Home vehicles for services and pick-ups as required.
• Assist with visitations, memorials and funeral services as requested by management.
• Maintain and tidy vehicles; support on-site operations as needed.
