Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services, delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes; ensures proper care and storage of items.
• Greets client families and provides information upon entering the office.
• Assists with respectful preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting when permitted by law and company policy.
• Performs office duties such as answering phones, operating multi-line systems, and basic administrative tasks.
• Runs errands for floral delivery, supplies, and documents as needed.
• Serves as an usher and may assist with parking and transportation for services.
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups as required.
• Ensures refreshments are available when permitted by law.
• Supports visitations, memorials, and funerals with setup and item delivery.
