S.E. Combined Services of Florida is seeking a Funeral Services Assistant to support funeral operations, greet families, and handle clerical tasks. The role involves assisting with services, transporting remains when needed, and ensuring smooth operations under management guidance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and prior customer service experience; proficiency with MS Office is preferred. A compassionate, professional demeanor and teamwork are essential in this on-site position

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and databases; willingness to learn required.
• High level of compassion and integrity; professional behavior expected.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Prepare documents related to services, cremations and maintenance as directed.
• Assist with preparation of remains, including dressing, lifting, or operation of crematory as permitted by law.
• Perform office duties: answering phones, operating office equipment and computer systems.
• Run errands for floral deliveries and supplies.
• Serve as an usher and assist with parking and transportation as needed.
• Drive funeral home vehicles for services and family transportation.
• Ensure refreshments when allowed by law and assist with visitations and services.
• Greet clients entering the office and provide information and assistance.
• Accommodate family needs during services or visitations; assist with setup as required.
