Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking an amiable Funeral Services Assistant to support funeral operations and interact with families with compassion. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and databases; willingness to learn is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for services by setting up florals, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and kept items for client families.
• Ensure proper care and storage of items.
• Prepare documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance.
• Assist with preparation of remains and related activities in line with law and company policy.
• Perform office duties including phones, faxes, computers, multi-line systems and payment devices.
