Job summary

sci in Elkridge, MD seeks a part-time team member to support funeral services and events with compassion and attention to detail. You will prepare rooms, set up refreshments, maintain sanitation, and assist families with care and keepsakes throughout events.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, light cleaning, restocking supplies, and handling miscellaneous tasks during and after services. Evening and weekend shifts are expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepares rooms for services and events. Physically moves chairs, tables, and displays personal keepsakes.
• Prepares table for refreshments and serves food as allowed by regulations.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization during event.
• After event, pack up family mementos for return or delivery.
• Cleans up room and sanitizes restrooms and kitchen areas.
• Greet customers politely and anticipate family needs during services.
• Performs general cleaning: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash disposal.
• Work hours include evenings and weekends as needed.
