Responsibilities

• Prepare for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos, and keepsakes; ensure proper care and storage.
• Prepare documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance as directed by management.
• Assist with respectful preparation of remains, including dressing and lifting and, where permitted, operation of crematory equipment.
• Perform office duties: answering phones, operating fax, computer, multi-line phone system, debit card machine, typewriter, postage meter, scale, and stereo/video system.
• Run errands for floral delivery, supplies, or documents.
• Serve as an usher; parking assistance and transportation duties as needed.
• Drive funeral home vehicles for services and family transport.
