Sci Corp is seeking a compassionate Customer Service Specialist to support families after a loss, coordinating with funeral directors and location staff. The role demands urgency, empathy, attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities include meeting directors, taking calls, collecting information, scheduling services, and assisting with arrangements and transport. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

• Strong office or customer service experience is required.
• Good communication and organization are essential.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Meets regularly with Funeral Director(s) to ensure customer needs are met
• Frequently communicates with families to coordinate activities
• Takes first calls and dispatches removal teams
• Collects vital information, files death certificates and insurance claims
• Schedules appointments for Funeral Directors
• Assists with dressing, casketing and preparing the deceased for viewing
• Transport human remains to the Crematory facility
• Delivers ashes from Crematory to Funeral Home
• Performs other administrative duties for the location when time permits
