Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• No prior work experience required; funeral industry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare casket and deceased for visitation or funeral services.
• Prepare rooms for services and assist with guest materials.
• Greet visitors and provide funeral information.
• May serve as pallbearer or drive families to cemetery.
• Perform office tasks, phone screening, data entry and mailroom duties.
