Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Worker/Kitchen Helper/Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help create a welcoming dining environment and support resident well-being.

You will follow dietary guidelines, maintain food safety, and work as part of a team. This on-site role supports training, development opportunities, and a positive community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
