Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks a Patient Food Services Manager to lead our patient dining program in an acute care setting across SE Minnesota. Travel to 5 accounts including Red Wing, Lake City, Cannon Falls, Austin, and Albert Lea is required.

You will hire and coach staff, ensure dietary restrictions are met, and drive patient satisfaction while complying with regulatory standards and HIPAA. Excellent leadership and EMR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with one year work experience in food services or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field.
• Certified Dietary Manager certificate or RD/RDN preferred.
• Minimum of one year in food service management, preferably in acute care.
• ServSafe certification desirable; proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Willingness to travel to five SE Minnesota accounts.

Responsibilities

• Establish goals and oversee patient food service implementation per medical direction.
• Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service staff.
• Ensure dietary restrictions meet patient needs within diet orders.
• Support patient satisfaction goals and participate in QA/PI programs.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and HIPAA; protect patient rights.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Food Services Manager to lead our Patient Dining Program within an Acute Care setting in SE Minnesota. This Manager would be required to travel to support 5 accounts – Red Wing, Lake City, Cannon Falls, Austin, and Albert Lea.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population
• Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service team members
• Comply with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations
• Ensure patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals
• Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Participate in / lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qualifications

• Associate degree with one year work experience in food services or related field, or bachelor’s degree in food service technology/management or related field
• Certified Dietary Manager certificate, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian, preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in food service management preferred in an acute care setting
• ServSafe certified, desirable
• Possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize Microsoft office applications, electronic medical record, and diet office systems
• Must be open to traveling to 5 accounts within the SE Minnesota region
