Job summary

Oak View Home is hiring for a Full-Time dietary support role. You’ll assist cooks, prepare desserts, and help with meals for patients in a patient‑focused, non-profit setting.

Responsibilities include tray service, cleanliness, and stocking, with regular dishwashing and adherence to infection control policies. Requires a high school diploma; benefits include health, dental, vision, life, 401(k) with match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing desserts or snacks for patients.
• Assist cook in preparation of meals.
• Carry trays to patients on halls.
• Clean tables in the dining area after each meal.
• Help with salads and desserts and other dishes.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments (sandwiches, etc.).
• Clean kitchen area and equipment; wash dishes and pots.
• Operate the dish machine and related equipment.
• Follow infection control policies and record temperatures when required.
