Job summary

Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to support daily meal preparation and service for residents. You will work closely with the Dietary Manager to ensure meals meet diet orders and resident preferences, while maintaining safe food handling practices.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, fluent English, and reliable transportation. Prior food prep experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred. Benefits are available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• +Experience in food prep and service in a skilled nursing or long term care facility preferred.
• Fluent English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and service of meals for patients, employees and events.
• Serve food according to planned menu and patient diet orders.
• Assist cook with proper food handling and timely quantity preparation.
• May wash dishes when needed; comply with safety standards.
