Job summary

Service Corporation International (Dignity Memorial) is seeking staff to prepare rooms for services, arrange furniture and keepsakes, and assist families during events. You will handle floral displays, serving duties where allowed, and maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.

Role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a compassionate, discreet demeanor with families during difficult times. Evening and weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Safety Certificate may be required per state regulations.
• Food and beverage server experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares rooms for services and events.
• Moves and sets up chairs, tables, easels, podiums, photos and keepsakes.
• Displays floral arrangements and other items up to 50 lbs.
• May arrange caskets and urns.
• Prepares tables for refreshments and serves food where permitted by law.
• Maintains cleanliness, sanitation and organization during events.
• After events, packs up and returns family mementos or arranges delivery.
• Cleans and sanitizes rooms, restrooms, and kitchens.
