AHMC HealthCare in Daly City is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to support the ED team in delivering comprehensive patient care under supervision of a registered nurse or physician.

The role requires maintaining a clean, organized treatment area, assisting with procedures, and ensuring patient comfort while documenting care and vital signs. EMT/CPR certification and prior ED experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• DAB; 12 lead EKG; and orthopedic procedure experience preferred.
• 2 years current ER Tech experience preferred.
• Current EMT1 certification preferred.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists in delivering total patient care under RN/physician direction.
• Relates to patients with courteous, professional behavior and good customer service.
• Prepares/assists patients for examinations and treatments and positions them appropriately.
• Maintains treatment area and supplies, ensuring cleanliness and proper linen handling.
• Documents procedures, vital signs and care provided.
• Transfers and transports patients as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
