Job summary

Sonata Lake Mary is seeking a compassionate Wellness Associate to support residents in an independent living, assisted living, memory care, and respite setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Current State Nurse’s Aide registration preferred but NOT REQUIRED.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Able to maintain positive working relationships with Residents, families, peers, and staff.
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assists Residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
• Monitors health changes and reports to Wellness Director.
• Maintains inventory of medical supplies and assists with ordering.
• Provides support in orienting and onboarding new Wellness Associates.
• Responds to Resident emergencies; provides first aid and arranges medical follow-up.
• Maintains Resident units clean, neat, and orderly.
• Assists with meal selection, service, and feeding as assigned.
• Participates in in-service education and follows safety procedures.
