Job summary

The Villages of Indiana is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Medication Manager to provide personal care and assist residents with daily activities in our community. You will administer medications following protocols and support residents in grooming, mobility, and daily routines.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene, preparing rooms, and responding to emergencies while upholding residents' dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to obtain Medication Manager certification on-site at community if not already certified.
• Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• Desire to work with geriatric population.
• Training per state requirements.
• Must have current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and assist residents with hygiene as needed.
• Follow medication administration protocols for each resident.
• Assist with grooming and personal care for residents.
• Make beds, change linens, and keep rooms neat.
• Respond to emergency calls promptly.
