Job summary

TEEMA is seeking compassionate caregivers to support older adults and individuals with complex care needs. You will provide essential daily care, promote comfort and dignity, and collaborate with a caring team to make a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with elderly or frail population.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work in in-home or center-based settings.
• Compassionate, patient-centered attitude and commitment to care.
• Basic English skills; bilingual testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and escort assistance per patient care plan (grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting, meals, housekeeping, laundry).
• Observe and report changes in a patient’s condition to the team.
• Demonstrate safe practices using body mechanics and universal precautions.
• Interact with patients, families and team in a positive, professional manner; encourage engagement.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
