Job summary

Right at Home Northeast & Central Nebraska is hiring CNAs, Caregivers and HHAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes in Grand Island, NE. You will provide personal care, daily living assistance, mobility support, and companionship, with training and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living and transferring/moving them within the home.
• Performing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompanying clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assisting with bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Dementia care and companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
