Job summary

Right at Home Northeast & Central Nebraska is hiring caregivers, CNAs and HHAs to provide in‑home support to seniors and adults with disabilities. You will assist with daily living, mobility, meals, light housekeeping and companionship in a community setting.

The role offers flexible schedules, paid training, and opportunities to develop skills with a national home care leader. A valid driver’s license and English proficiency are required to deliver compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Pass a background check.
• CNA/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and mobility in the home.
• Perform light housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting and laundry.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, grooming and dressing as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support with range of motion exercises and dementia care.
• Offer companionship through reading, music, puzzles and conversation.
