Job summary

Companions Forever seeks compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care in Connecticut. You will follow each client's Plan of Care to support independence at home.

Responsibilities include transporting clients to appointments, light housekeeping, meal prep, dressing and mobility assistance, and documenting care. Flexible shifts include weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence—offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
