Job summary

Liberty Health and Rehab in Greenwood is seeking a Supportive Care Aide (PRN) to safeguard residents’ rights, treat everyone with dignity, and maintain confidentiality while providing compassionate support in daily care.

You will assist with 1:1 monitoring, meal service, mobility, grooming, and activities, report concerns to the charge nurse, and help with supplies and transportation as needed. High school diploma preferred; English literacy and clear communication required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience with older adults or related field preferred.
• Proven ability to read and write English, communicate effectively with staff, families, and residents.

Responsibilities

• Safeguards all residents’ rights.
• Takes 1:1 monitoring for residents with behavioral challenges or socialization needs.
• Responds to call lights and assists with needs as appropriate.
• Assists with feeding, hydration, and meal/snack service.
• Provides companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Restocks and labels supplies, maintains room tidiness, and transports residents to activities.
• Reports concerns to charge nurse and maintenance issues promptly.
• Participates in training and implements facility protocols.
