Job summary

Liberty Health in Fayetteville, NC seeks an experienced Supportive Care Aide for the Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. This PRN position supports residents with daily activities, meals, hydration, and social interaction.

You will assist with appointments, activities, and basic care under supervision, ensuring safety and dignity for residents. Background checks and a drug-free workplace are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Prefer 1 year of experience with older adults or related field, not required.
• Ability to read and write English sufficiently for business correspondence and policy statements; clear spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Safeguards all residents’ rights.
• Treats residents with dignity and respect; maintains positive attitude and pleasant tone.
• Assists with 1:1 monitoring for residents requiring behavioral support or socialization.
• Answers call lights and assists with needs as appropriate to care level.
• Assists with hydration, serving fluids, and maintaining appropriate liquids.
• Makes beds and tidies rooms; bags and labels personal items.
• Labels and stores bed pans per facility protocol.
• Provides companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Restocks supplies and assists with transporting residents to activities.
• Assists with meal service and cleanup; may assist with feeding after training.
