Qualifications

• Completion of some high school or equivalent.
• None, on-the-job training provided.
• Active and unexpired CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• A familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Assists with care needs including toileting, ambulation, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, escorting, and transfers.
• Performs dining assistance during meal times and helps with table setup and cleanup.
• Notifies supervisors of changes in resident condition and follows care plans.
• Cleans and maintains residents' apartments and common areas; handles laundry, trash, and housekeeping duties.
• Assists in activities and helps residents attend scheduled appointments.
